Such a pleasurable class! The subject matter is hard and the tests are no joke, but if you work hard in the class, you'll be fine. The professor is REALLY engaging and so funny! At the conclusion of the last lecture, almost everyone gave him a standing ovation... I highly recommend taking this class.

Bertello knows what he is talking about and is very willing to help outside of class. You do assignments on a program called WebAssign that gives you 6 tries for every part of every problem to get it right. so easy! in fact, even if you use them up, if you ask Bertello for more tries he gives them to you. Lectures are a must to attend since he doesn't put notes online. He tells the you exact problems he will use on the midterms as well as gives you equations sheets!

The man is a miracle. Keeps it simple. Tells you exactly what you need to know. Very approachable outside of class. Speaks ten languages but is very clear in lecture. Tests are straightforward. No alarms and no surprises. Only thing to watch out for is the pants. He is European so he wears tight pants. Not for the faint of heart. But the man's a saint. If you can get him- take him.

Professor Bertello is one of the best professors I've had here. He makes physics easier to understand and his midterms were very straightfoward. He tells you what each problem will be on the exam so you know exactly to study. He is VERY accessible outside class and you can go to him even outside of his office hours. Before midterms and the final, I would suggest dropping by his office and he'll teach you anything you did not pick up in lecture. Office hours is where I learned Physics 6B because he goes over many examples and pretty much does any problem you ask him (unless it's not important for the test, and then he'll tell you it isn't). He tells you what is on the final too, however, his final was much more difficult than his midterms. It wasn't impossible or anything like that, it was just harder than anyone expected. So watch out for the final, he gets tricky. But if you also go to his office hours, he'll teach you basically what you should know! Good luck with Physics 6B! I really recommend him over any of the other 6B professors!
