I hate this guy. he's mean and god forbid you have a question he berates you for asking a question. he gave me an A- and I had >92% his lectures are useless and he's annoying.

I hope he gets hit by a bus.

Strange professor, not the most effective, but not the worst. The lectures in the first half hour of lab were nearly useless. All Heyrat does is read the lab procedures off the board and say "OK?" 10 times per minute. He also assumes you understand what he says the first time he says something. He has to realize some non-EE students have never seen some of the equipment before. Instead of removing all the components from the breadboard and saying it is wrong right away, he should slowly explain why. Other then that, he is available to help you finish your experiment. One good point for Heyrat is he goes over your quiz mistakes with you personally after you take it (though you don't get to keep it). However, he does that too fast.

The labs were very useful. If EE 110L did not exist, non EE students would graduate without learning how to use the O-scope, function generator, breadboards, and create simple circuits. I would suggest people pay attention to what's going on in the experiments. The experiments took an average of 3 hours (longest was 3.5 hours for my group). Report length and grading depends on the TA. They can be from 5-20 pages long and performance is graded by the TA. Lab reports can take from 5-10 hours per week. The quizzes were straight forward. If you understood the theory from the lab, then you will get a high mark. That means you should review the lab manual and lab data results. Final grading was very lenient as well. I don't know if it is 70% A or not in 110L, but I know if you're at least in the top 1/3, you'll get an A.
