I had Donatella for Italian 1 and 2 and she was a wonderful professor. She was very clear when explaining the topics and took the time to work with the students if they did not understand. As much as she tries to help it is ultimately up to the students to want to learn in order to master the materials. Since she is a native Italian you get a better sense of how words are supposed to sound and how things are said. Overall she is a great professor if you are willing to put in the work.

I had Donatella for Italian 1 and this is my second quarter with her. She is such a great teacher. She tries to make class as interesting and fun. This quarter we got to practice speaking more and we listened to some Italian music to get a sense of how different verb tenses are used. I have loved being her student because she always wants to help everyone do their best.
