I honestly cannot recommend Professor Rahmani enough. I took her COM LIT 4CW Class and I surprisingly liked it despite not usually being a fan of writing. She finished class early pretty often and it consisted of discussions about what we read (usually short articles) in breakout rooms and the main zoom. Our grade was based on participation (20% of class grade), 7 short essays (350-500 words, 35% of grade), a midterm paper (1000-1200 words, 15% of grade), and a final paper (1500-1800 words, 30% of grade). We had to read a couple of books but they were fairly interesting and I only had to actually buy one (around $20) because it wasn't available online. You should definitely take her class if you need a GE or writing 2 requirement fulfilled!

Honestly, this class was a surprise for me, as everyone always hypes up the difficulty of Writing II classes. I was worried my pea sized stem major brain wouldn't be able to handle a writing class, but Professor Rahmani in her 4CW class makes it simple. The work load is very light, as you only have to do a 400 word discussion submission every week. Other than that, the class is run like a seminar, where you do the few readings prior and Professor Rahmani lectures on some of the symbolism and context. She is also very helpful, as she really guides you along the writing process in her office hours after class. Over all, a 10/10 class that surprised me, as Professor Rahmani made the material easily digestible and simple!
