The tests are usually pretty easy if you prepare the essays well and memorize them before the test (she gives you the questions a week or so before). Some of the TAs grade really hard and take points off for the smallest things so you basically have to just write exactly what's in her lecture notes or the TAs will take tons of points off. Not a bad class, get a good TA

SO BORING- I fell asleep every single lecture. She says the same thing at the beginning of the class that she said the lecture before. She reads her lectures from typed notes, but she gives you the important information. The essay tests are not that bad except the TAs are really hard graders. The other thing to watch out for is she only wears black and grey!

The lectures are quite boring, but they are informative. She tells you the important concepts from the readings, which is going to be on the exams. Its not a hard class because it is basically just memorizing what dead guys believed in. If you have any questions about lecture, she's nice to approach during her office hours. I would recommend you to take her for this course.
