Prof. Yeager is very helpful for anybody with a question. She is a firm believer in engagement and participation. The midterm and final were not particularly difficult, but preparation was certainly nerve-wracking. There is no question as to whether I would take another class with her, but this happens to be the second part of the two-part course. The textbook is pricey, but you can purchase cheaper copies if you find them. The content is slightly more difficult, for some reason, but it just takes a lot of work to get a good handle on it.
I had Prof. Yeager for the second half of the History of the American Economy, and overall the class was ok. Prof. Yeager was a very nice person, but the lectures were sometimes difficult to sit through. Our class consisted of weekly essays that made up the midterm and final, and two movie reviews. If you take her class, don't let her amiable nature lull you into a false sense of security because she's a pretty picky/difficult grader. As long as you show up to class (which is often difficult to do), and you work REALLY hard, you should be fine. Good luck!
