Quarter: Spring 2025
Grade: A+

Dr. Blackmar was an incredible instructor and he was very passionate about the seminar content, which subsequently increased my interest in the course.

You might think his work is boring. Originally, I wasn't very interested in the specific themes the seminar covered: copyright law, IP, information, political ideologies, etc. However, I became more and more fascinated over time by how the disparate threads of the course connected together and really enjoyed learning about such important contemporary issues at the crux of the digital age.

Throughout the quarter, he was immensely knowledgeable about the ideologies and the events we discussed, which made me feel encouraged to ask questions and engage with the material. Dr. Blackmar's weekly office hours are also very valuable; I felt very comfortable scheduling a meeting and getting crucial feedback on my progress on assignments.
