I am THRILLED this professor is no longer the Chair of the department. It was almost unbelievable how poor he treated any concerns of the students. When I had a concern (and several of my classmates) about our professor he advised me to basically "be careful about what write about my concerns with the professor."
I should have wrote to the Dean about it but I was struggling with work and school and I really didn't have time for his antics, needless to say, I am very happy with UCLA's decision to demote him.
