This is a great ge and you will never regret taking it! First of all it is a super interesting class as long as you are interested in stem cell. Dr Hooshmand relates all the stuff to real life so you will feel things you learn is useful. Some very basic background of biology is helpful but not necessary to do well in this class. very very minimum workload, only need to study just before the exams and quizzes. But one very important tip is that you need to write down EVERY SINGLE DETAIL SHE SAYS IN CLASS. Do not rely on the slides she posts on ccle as the slides might only contain 30-40% of the content. If you miss a class, good luck finding some good note-taker friend for the notes. In the exams and quizzes you will see very small details tested. Overall it is a very good ge! Thank you Dr Hooshmand.
