Good lecturer. He explained things clearly even though it could get boring at times. Would recommend him on 2x speed if you have access to his recorded lectures. Homeworks were difficult, especially towards the middle of the quarter, but his exams were very fair. Would recommend.
I rated this class 5 on almost everything because if you do all your work, you will get a A.
NOTE: There are no exams and there is a final project but no final exam.
There are multiple TAs that you can go to for office hours. They are very helpful in the projects and helped me a lot through the final project. So far, the reports have not been graded too harshly (they only take off about 5 points out of 100).
Would recommend someone to take this class. The workload is very manageable considering no studying time and did not need to attend lectures as they were online. AND NO EXAMS.
Prof has uber confusing lectures and challenging homework with textbook that he constantly points out has tons and tons of mistakes. Cant tell what the prof is asking for. Try to but cant read textbook to catch up on what the professor rushes over because its filled with so many mistakes. Makes his own homework that includes material he didn't talk about in class and you can't find help online to figure out what he wants.
This class was fine. Lectures were long, complicated derivations of equations, but the derivations really didn't matter. As long as you write the actual equations down they're easy to apply - you literally just plug numbers into them and solve. Exams and homework were fair, and Khalid Jawed was a nice guy, the only issue was his lectures were pretty boring. Discussion sections basically gave the answers to the homework, which was key.
