Prof. Lamoreaux seems like a very nice and concerned teacher. Her lectures are outlined, have a lot of structure, and are easy to follow. The class itself is pretty good. It was graded kinda easily. However, she's pretty vague about certain issues. If you want to take this for a GE, go ahead. But, if you want a strong perspective on US History, maybe this isn't the class for you.

Professor Lamoreaux offers a different perspective on US history. Instead of learning dates and memorizing battles of the war, you'll learn a lot about the social and economic impacts of events of the 19th century. I enjoyed this class and I thought it was pretty easy, especially with an AP US history background. I've talked to Prof. Lamoreaux before and after class and she was really personable.

It is obvious that Professor Lamoreaux cares a lot about her students. I really enjoyed her class, and it wasn't very hard at all. She is great!
