This class overall is pretty easy, for my first political science class as a freshman I was able to easily cope with the workload. There's a midterm paper, final paper (no in-lecture tests) plus participation tracked via small writeups on a discussion thread for the weekly readings due before class. Her slides and lectures aren't really useful, having a good understanding of the readings is enough to get an A in the class in my opinion. I guess just show up to lectures to show up.

My TA Tomi was great, he helped a bunch with understanding where I can improve on my essays to ensure I secure an A. Recommend this class for a relatively easy A but I wouldn't say the content is interesting. I have read certain texts prior to the class, but I vaguely remember them, but regardless, you'd be easily able to cope as long as you read the texts.

I lowkey thought this was going to be a hard class but I really enjoyed it. The class is very informational heavy and reading-heavy but it was very intriguing to me. She tries to make it very interactive. She does talk pretty fast. The essay is pretty easy and the TA is very nice to have as far as it goes to understanding the class. I thought I was going to do so badly and have no interest in the class but I really loved it.
