Class taken: Comm 111
Went to all the classes, did all the readings and studied.
The first half of the quarter was okay because he actually lectured. The second half, we had 3 guest lectures and watched a lot of videos.
For some reason I got a C on the final and an A on the midterm. I ended up with a b+ in this class. I have no idea why! I have a 3.7 GPA so I know I am not stupid, and I gotten all A's or A-'s in the comm classes i have taken.
The midterm was easy because it was actually based from a textbook and lecture.
I have no idea what happened on the final. It was mainly based off a self-help book that taught you how to deal with conflict. However, the ambiguous questions were asked in a way that even if you did study, you wouldn't have known the answer. It did not test on the material but asked questions that were not related to the main point.
Overall it is a fun class to take (its literally like a self-help course) however, the grading style was not fair.
