Spring 2025 - When took this seminar, it was titled Racialized Public Policy in the US. I though the course was interesting, and the required readings were relevant. Class generally consisted of a warm up, group discussion, and then review of content/ explanation for the final paper. Each week there were 3 readings and you needed to submit a summary/thoughts on each one before class. I though that grading was fair and the feedback given on the final essay was useful. He let the whole class vote as to when the final paper should be due, so he is definitely flexible with student needs. Compared to other cluster seminars that I have heard about, this one was definitely lighter in terms of amount of work, and easier when it comes to grading.
