This class was interesting but definitely a lot more math and problem solving than I thought it was going to so be prepared for that. Had weekly problem sets which the TAs help you with during section. We were allowed to use notes during the midterms and final, but you definitely need to make sure you are able to solve the problems pretty well. We did 'poll' questions during lecture so attendance was kind of required but I think he had some other option for people who didn't attend lecture too.

I wanted to write this review because as someone who is not an AOS major I was unprepared for what the class would be like. There was a bit more math and a little bit of physics that I wasn't expecting. Overall I would say the class isn't terribly difficult if you reach out for help and go to OH. My TA (Laura T) is absolutely amazing!! I tended to zone out in class so if you pay attention and do the homework problems you should be set!
