Overall Class is pretty easy. Its chapters 7 and 8 of the calculus for life sciences textbook used in 3A and 3B. Wiley plus is kind of expensive and required unfortunately but if you do the homework and the Wiley plus problems you should get an A in the class. Tests are very straightforward.
Spent $100 on the Wiley plus to do 4 online homework assignments, so that was kind of a bummer.
The tests were quite similar to the practice problems she gave us so I felt quite adequately prepared.
Studied for the first midterm (got an A), stopped going to class, didn't show up for the second midterm, and managed to still get an A in the class.
Very nice professor.
Professor Greene is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She is understanding and really loves math and teaching. She needs correcting sometimes with silly math errors during lecture but she makes jokes about that. Overall I am so lucky to have had Professor Greene especially for Math 3C. I got 100% on both the midterms and an A+ in the class. She gives practice problems for midterms and handpicks practice problems from the book for the final! She doesn't pull any tricks out either, what she shows you on the practice problems is the exact same material that she will test you on. So know the practice problems and you will do well on the test.
Greene is a very easy professor. Wiley plus is kinda expensive but a necessary part of the class. If you do the homework, you'll be fine for the midterms and final. Lowest midterm gets dropped. Notes are posted online so class is not necessary. Overall easy A
As a Soc major, I was dreading taking the Math pre-req. But Prof. Greene made this class completely do-able and I actually looked forward to going to class. She is EXTREMELY concerned about student learning and is a very interesting, organized lecturer. She made sure we understood all of the content before moving on and went slowly enough for everyone to fully grasp the concepts. I would absolutely recommend taking Math 2 with her--she is awesome and made this class way easier than I expected! What a sweetheart!
She is such a sweet lady and really wants to help you get an A. I had absolutely no problem with this class until the final. The final was doable but extremely harder than any of the midterms or practice tests.
The professor explained all the topics in the class clearly. Furthermore, the class was easy to follow and required almost no effort if you go to class. The homework is quite lengthy, but it helps you understand the material and is similar to the midterm and final. The class is also generously curved with the cutoff for an A being at 85 percent. Take this class with Professor Greene if you have to take it.
Paige was the sweetest teacher. She made waking up at 8am three times a week that less grueling. Even though MS 4000A is one of the most depressing rooms to be in, she really did her best to keep us engaged. Both midterms were fair, but the final was low key brutal. Gave us a study guide of 20 questions and the final was 26 questions.... I think you can guess which 6 questions were 60% of your grade while the other 20 were 40% of our grade... yeah you guessed right, the ones that WERENT on the study guide. However, she’s very sweet, class was fair. I’d recommend taking it with her.
Green is probably one of the sweetest professor's you'll ever meet. You can tell she loves math and loves teaching it. The class itself is honestly pretty easy and especially if you're good at math, then no doubt you can get an A. Green is happy to help as long as you ask for it, and she has plenty of office hours for you to do so. The homework load was a decent amount, it could be a little tedious sometimes but it was definitely good practice. Her midterms were easy, but the final on the other hand was different and more difficult, but still manageable. And I think she has a pretty easy curve. I would DEFINITELY recommend Green !!!
( and just a little disclaimer: I had no background in pre-calc at all and had no interest in learning it whatsoever, so I just want to put it out there that my barely-passing grade is not a reflection of her teaching at all. To be completely honest I think I should have failed, but I believe with all my heart that she gave me mercy points to pass me because she's just that sweet )
