She's an okay teacher. Really a sweetheart though she's actually really cute (grandma cute). Uhh I don't know but I know I'm not alone I took calculus in high school was pretty good at it and college calc just kicked my ass i can't explain it. Maybe I just thought it was gonna be a breeze so I didn't worry idk. I got a B in this class and B- in math 3a with some australian dude who was terrible. Maybe it was my fault though who knows. Just got a A- in 3c which is supposed to be the hardest of the three so go figure...she's nice though no reason not to take her.

To bee completely honest, she was a good professor... I thought she explained concepts well. However, she sent rant e-mails to all her students about certain things she finds annoying and weird random crap which I thought was stupid. For my quarter, both her midterms were easy. The first midterm was harder than the second and people averaged around a 78%... the second one basically half the class got 100%. Although these midterms were easy, they were also out of a small amount of points... meaning if you got like 1 problem wrong... you'd get lowered to like an 88%. Her midterms had multiple choice on them, so for those, no partial credit. Both midterms were easy and then when the final came, everyone did badly. I got an 85% on the first midterm, an 88% on the second since I missed ONE multiple choice problem and that screwed me over. And since the final was out of 65 points... I missed like 4 and it went to like a 66% which I thought was total bullshit. I knew the material... the tests were just out of so little points and if you missed a little, you were basically at the bottom since they were so easy that everyone else got 100%s. Overall I got a B in the class, when I thought I knew the material well enough to get at least an A-, but oh well.

This is the second time around that I've been lucky to have Professor Greene. She is such a chipper, caring woman always ready to teach. Her lectures are very well organized, her tests are surprise-free, and her enthusiasm does not allow anyone to fall asleep. Consider yourself lucky if you see this professor on your schedule!

Greene is the best math professor I've taken at UCLA. Her lectures are based in solving problems covered in the course in a step-by-step manner. She's pretty light on theory, incorporating it into the lecture after demonstrating how to solve the problem, which provides context for the theory.

Her grading is fair and examinations are clear and there are no surprises. She extensively reviews the materials to be covered on the exam in class and in office hours. Problems on quizzes and exams are similar to the homework she assigns and nearly identical to her practice exams.

Mean for the first midterm 77.5/100. Mean for second midterm 70/100.
