This was a great class and I feel that I walked away learning something valuable about non-Western theater. The readings were very interesting and not that difficult. Her exams are also fairly easy if you do the readings and attend class (you don't even have to take really good notes).There were three pop quizs. Her midterm and final included both an inclass exam and a take home essay (2-3pgs). Besides learning great materials of Asian theater, this class is an easy A if you attend class and keep up with the readings. Professor Harter is also very student oriented and helpful outside of class even if she doesn't appear to be so in class.
