Just take this class! Awesome professor and small class (she loves small classes). Super helpful and wants you to succeed. I will definitely take her again in the future. The best professor I had at UCLA.

No exams and easy grader on assignments.
Film analysis based - 2 movies a week - recreation of scenes or 2 page paper analyzing the movies.
You can write and talk to the professor in the language you prefer (Portuguese, Spanish or english)
Portuguese knowledge is not required
