Paul is great, and I loved the class. The first couple weeks can be pretty dry because of all the tool training you need to use the shop, but it picks up quickly after that and then it's just fun project after fun project. The fab lab has a ton of great resources to do whatever you want with it. The only cumbersome bit of the course is that the lab closes on weekends, which can be a slap in the face if you're working on a big project and need the lab's resources.

If you're in the Design Media Arts major you should not miss this class! The class is not hard, it's just a heavy workload. I loved the work so I did not mind putting in the hours, they went by fast. Paul is a great instructor and very unique! Would definitely take again

I love Paul. Super funny and chill guy. All the class projects are really fun but take a lot of time. The syllabus suggests minimum 9hrs spent working per project, but depending how interested/complicated your project is it will definitely take more time.

Paul was amazing. Really helpful instructor, fun assignments, casual class environment. I learned a lot about fabrication and using tools and I ended up really fulfilled with my final projects.
