Professor Yin does teach in a very clear way and his lectures are easy to follow. The class material is not condensed so you have more than enough time to study. There is only five homeworks and each should not cost you more than 2 hours. That being said, the homeworks do prepare you well for the midterms. You need a deeper understanding about this class and read the textbook thoroughly in order to do well in the final. His final is pretty hard so don't bet everything on it.
