Kavehpour is indeed one of the best professors you could possibly find in UCLA. He is young and energetic and brings so much enthusiasm to classroom. His lectures are very effective. His teaching style is very conceptual which is very nice in contrast to many other professors who just write down endless formulas on the board and the burdon of making sense out of what you read is on your own. His patience in explaining the logic behind things over and over again is impressive. He is also very knowlegeable and sharp in determining your source of confusion and the best way to answer your questions. Dont hesitate to ask him questions as he likes to see your effort to discuss and understand things. He's got a very good sense of humor and make you laugh most of the times but he can sound serious, tedious and scary too. Dont let that turn you away from him as he just expects a reasonable level of professionalism. One important tip if you are persian: Keep a good work ethics and be very professional and dont make him think you are taking advantage of being persian! and you'll see what a cool professor he is.
