I LOVED this class. If you have an interest in the criminal justice system, this is a fascinating class. Do not expect to just show up to half of the classes and do well, you have to come to each lecture in order to do well. Geiselman is not out to trick you on the midterm, he simply wants to know you read the material and attended the lectures and guest speaker presentations. You cover everything from the Juvenile justice system, drug offenders, sex offenders and other really interesting material! Definitely the best class I have taken at UCLA.

Prof. Geiselman is a cool professor. I really liked his class because it was a very interesting topic. He has had a lot of experience with criminals which makes him all the more fun to listen to. The readings are also very exciting and not all that long. But you DO HAVE TO STAY ON TOP OF THEM TO DO WELL. I enjoyed all his guest speakers. Overall, I recommend taking this class with him.
