My evaluation is on English M126 which is called Introduction to Feminist and Queer Theory. So far, this has got to be one of the most interesting classes I have ever taken IN MY LIFE! The material is very fascinating and even though it is theory, she succeeds in helping us see the connections between the theories and the present day. I had a wonderful time in this class because the lecture material was so relevant to today's world. I mean, who doesn't enjoy learning about the politics behind sexuality and gender? It's personal, but it's also political and that's one of the lessons I've learned from this class. She records her lectures and she also uses PowerPoint slides, so no need to worry about missing any information. She seriously cares more about her students than any other professor I've seen yet. She cares A LOT about students opinions (she even included them in a lecture). Very few professors take student opinions that seriously. She is also organized, which is always a plus. I recommend her because she is an intellectual, as well as sincere and cordial which is a combination that is hard to find among professors.

Fall 2023 - Professor Lee was an interesting professor but her lectures were a little disorganized and her readings were a little longer. She is available after class to talk and if you just do the readings the lectures will make total sense and you should have no trouble with her.

Winter 2025 - Avoid this cluster class at all costs. Professor Rachel Lee’s lectures are some of the most boring, soul-draining experiences you’ll ever endure—seriously, it feels like she has no idea what she’s talking about half the time. The material itself is painfully dull, and her delivery somehow makes it worse. It’s like sitting through a bad PowerPoint presentation that never ends. Don’t let Bruin Day hype fool you into thinking clusters are some amazing opportunity—they’re not. They’re overhyped, underwhelming, and feel like a total waste of time. If you’re looking for an engaging class or something remotely interesting, steer clear of this mess. Clusters are a joke, and this one is no exception.
