I loved this class. Not only is it really easy, but Dr. Kennison is a delight to have in class. This class is more of a personality exploration ("get to know yourself") kind of class and I loved it. The first 5 weeks are personality quizzes and learning more about yourself and weeks 6 through 9 focus on career exploration led by guest speakers. She is great and knows what she is talking about. Her goal is to help you better understand who you are and what you can do and it's an amazing class. Highly recommend.

This is a career class for life science majors. I am not a science major at all but I needed a easy upper division elective. Basically you take some personality test and write a few 1 to 2 page papers about how you feel about your personality assessments. You will also have to type up a few questions for the guest speakers. The big assignment is making your resume in her style. I didn't agree with it but whatever. She had 2 TA's the younger one was good the older one was bad. The textbook has a template of how the instructor wants you to do your resume. The older TA did not grade based on the template, but would instead make up her own rules which were the opposite of the instructor. Class was easy but annoying when it came to the grading. The class is P/NP so as long as you do 75% of the work you'll pass.
