Renee is a great professor and very caring for her students. Due to COVID, class was structured with a lecture on the first class every week where we talk about the required screenings (got released early) and the second class was an interview with an Asian American filmmaker we submit questions for. There are around 3 hours of screening and some readings every week. Grading is based on biweekly blogs, weekly questions, attendance, and a final project/paper. The blogs and final paper were easy, just be careful of grammar and content since the professors could grade a bit hard. Renee and Janet are super lenient and this was such a fun class to take!
