Course Taken: CHEM 110A

The class overall is not easy. We had one midterm and the final and even though he says doing the HW problems will get you ready, the questions in the book are not nearly as challenging as the ones in the exams. His exam questions really test your knowledge of the concepts and i believe we had no way to fully be prepared for them.
With that being said, since the class is hard, a lot of people do struggle so just by keeping up with the material you should be fine.

Chem 110A

Easy A. I know that many people complained about how hard his class is, but you also need to know that an appalling amount of people in the class can't even do basic calculus from math 31A/B.

CHEM 110A

AVOID! Extremely difficult and challenging for this class (hes a physics professor). Probably easy based on the previous reviews for physics but challenging for chemistry. Curves grade to B- and assigns a TON OF book problems and tests you on abstract material. AVOID and wait until Winter quarter!
