Prof. Roshini is the sweetest professor I've ever encountered. She cares more that her students have a positive experience with chemistry and are engaged rather than strict grading. If you get anything below an A in this class I would honestly be impressed because of how hard that would be to do. This is easily the simplest GE I've ever taken. All the content is very interesting, but honestly the lack of examinations gave me little motivation to give this class much effort.
You can get the textbook for free online, but you really don't need it.

Best professor I had in UCLA. The grade is based on weekly discussion worksheets, one midterm and a final paper. For the discussion worksheet, she literally goes over all the answers in the discussion before you turn it in, and she will give you credits just based on completion. Midterm was an open book exam, which you will be able to find all the answers in her slides. The final paper and presentation was fun and easy, and you actually learned things from it which is awesome. If you need the GE credit, take with her!!! She was so caring and understanding. I am sure most of the class got an A, and like the other person said, I would be impressed if you did not get an A in this class. I heard she is starting summer sessions starting 2021, TAKE THIS CLASS!!
