I loved this class. We got to read a huge selection of poems from a wide variety of poets. Professor Shideler made the material super comfortable for all of us despite the sometimes graphic content. Very laid back. We had to write 3 essays, but don't be concerned; they're all low stakes and casual. 10/10 would take again!

He is amazing. Seriously. He doesn't mind being blunt and matter of fact, but is still sensitive to concerns from students. Is very knowledgable and is a fabulous teacher.

P.S. He is hilarious and an awesome guy!
