I agree with the previous review. Scott is useless and contributed nothing to this course. I learned a lot about GIS but that is because of the other professors videos. Scott vaguely replied to emails and offered no help. This class has weekly assignments that are easy as long as you stay onto of them. Some are actually very fun. It is not hard to get an A, but you do have to spend some time each week. Assignments are released Monday and Thursday. I recommend this class for sure!! Scott lydon does kind of suck though.
The class is great! However, Scott Lydon is not. He is completely useless and did not help at all. He sometimes had vague instructions along with vague answers. Whenever he responded to an email he was SOOO condescending. Honestly this class could have been done without him. The online videos are by a real, good professor, not even him. He literally did not contribute one thing to this class, besides his cocky attitude. But this si a great summer class that does require some work and effort. Definitely not hard to get an A as long as you stay on top of assignments. Scott however, contributed nothing and was absolutely NO help.
This class is very straightforward and easy to follow along with and complete assignments. Videos are uploaded along with instructions that you can just follow along with to complete assignments. Very manageable despite having 2 assignments each week. There are also weekly discussions post included with each assignments. Professor Lydon answered all our emails but sometime completely disregarded questions and added more confusion. As long as you enter a groupme you'll have all the help you need. Overall very fun class that allows you to play around with geographic software. 10/10 recommend
This class is one of the easiest A that I have got. All of the lecture videos are comprehensive and basically tells you how to complete the homework step by step. The weekly discussions are also based on word count instead of quality. 11/10 will recommend as a chill summer GE
