Quarter: Spring 2022
Grade: A
Dec. 22, 2022

He does derivations in class and assigns homework that use those formulas. Massive ego. But he always says back in his days it's how it worked. It "works" if what you want is a degree or good grades, wouldn't work if you want to learn physics.

Quarter: Spring 2018

Putterman is my favorite professor at UCLA. He is a great lecturer, cracks jokes at the expense of humanities majors, and is a huge figure in his field. He really knows his stuff, and is able to easily share his knowledge with his students.
