This was a really interesting class. A lot of work: two midterms, two map quizzes, two essays, and a final. But overall I enjoyed the class and if you do the work you can definitely get an A! The Professor was witty and the class was pretty cool for a GE.

At first, I wasn't too sure what to expect coming into this class. It turns out the class was fairly interesting and relatively easy. When taking this class with Professor Oswald, make sure you pay attention during lecture as the contents of his tests will mainly come from them. Professor Oswald was kind and nice and always available if you needed help. The class consisted of one short essay in the beginning of the quarter, one research paper and one final. Overall a great class and would recommend.
