Professor Popa greatly understands mathematics. He is also very funny and relaxed. His exams are very similar to his practice exams. I just have an issue of studying late and sometimes blanking during exams, but if you don't have these issues and understand the concepts enough and know how to do the practice test he provides then you should do well. This was a class I took right before Covid 19 hit. He was very accommodating and understanding, and we had 24 hours for our final. H was very generous with the curve and wants his students to do well.

Popa was a really nice professor! Though his accent made it hard to understand him sometimes and his handwriting wasn't the best, he made a good effort to make sure the class followed along. I will admit I didn't really learn off his lectures, I mostly watched youtube videos and did the homework (which is graded on accuracy) to understand the material. His tests were fairly straight forward, usually only one "tricky" question on both midterms we had. His examples in class are very similar to the questions on the midterm.

The class is fairly simple. Professor Popa really does his best to try and help the students pass. Took finals for this class midst the start of COVID-19, and Popa was very understanding of the whole situation. I think he even curved all our grades. King
