Professor Reise was one of the worst professors I have taken. He made me feel uncomfortable throughout the class due to his awkward sex jokes. He made the content confusing and jumbled. If you take this class rely heavily on your own notes and ability to study. Professor Reise and his TAS were no help at all!

I don't know what the person below is talking about. He is not a fantastic lecturer. He's pretty awful, at best mediocre. He just reads off the slides and doesn't really clarify anything. If someone raised his or her hand, it would take Reise forever to get to that person.

Although I appreciate his attempts to make stats funny, it doesn't make up for his lazy lectures.

However, the class is really really easy so I don't regret taking the class at all. The exams are multiple choice and you'll get an A as long as you read the book a couple times. Quizzes are open book and note so they're usually easy.

He is a FANTASTIC lecturer, he is actually hilarious like I have never laughed out loud during a lecture and the examples he uses are hilarious too. Take him if at all possible!! Literally didn't study more than an hour for quizzes and would get almost perfect scores because he covers exactly what he will be testing you on.

I usually don't write reviews but just had to let y'all know don't listen to any negative reviews, he is so great I promise you won't regret it if you take his class!

BTW: He let the person with the highest grade in the class get excused from the final (so cool)

This guys isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. He's alright at teaching and his powerpoints are pretty straightforward -- if you've read the chapter beforehand. Just make sure to print out his lectures beforehand and following along in lecture will be a lot easier as he sometimes tends to ramble -- but doesn't everybody ramble every now and then? Overall he's an adequate teacher where a B is pretty doable and an A is not too far from reach if you do the work on time & do the extra credit!

Thought that Reise was a terrible teacher; he basically just reads off his powerpoint and has no actual teaching skills whatsoever. The online book is your best bet for doing well in this class, and reading/re-reading it is the only way to get Reise's bland information to sink it. Doable, but not a good professor.

Worst professor ever!!!!!!!! always talking about the things that are wrong with psychology. UHMMMM WHY are you a psychology professor then?!?!?!? AVOID at all costs. he is very unavailable, try talking to him after class and he will start to walk away from you as if to hint that he doesnt want to answer your questions. go see him in office hours and he will be very reluctant to answer your question. the only material i learned was from the book and friday review sessions. i barely skatedd by with a b- :(
