Sumner is so awesome! Super helpful in getting you started in bassoon reedmaking, and just a lovely soul.

For the class, you'll have to buy some of your own reed adjustment supplies, but lots of stuff we use are available in the reed room, so if you already play bassoon for something / for fun, then this course will be useful... also if you're not actually bassoon major, you can just email Sumner for a PTE # to join the class (that is what I did :D).

Part of the final does require you to record yourself playing a working reed on bassoon, so it may be wise to already have one available for usage before enrolling, but otherwise, definitely join us!!
