One of the best professors at UCLA in my opinion. She cares so much about her students. If you don't get a concept, she will go above and out of her way to help you understand. She is friendly and approachable, so go to her office hours! Go even if you don't have questions and chat her up! There is a lot of homework that goes with the Russian class, but it really helps. Her quizzes are easy if you've completed the homework!
