I absolutely LOVE Professor Lohmann. I am currently a senior and transferred in, so far have taken 4 classes with Lohmann (M115D, M115A, M142D, & M122B). I wish I could take another. She is the nicest, most available professor I have ever had. All her classes are super convenient because she gives you 3 different tracks you can take: the short paper, long paper and group project. I did the long paper for 3 classes and a group project for one. For the long paper you do not have to attend class. You just meet with the reader from time to time. Your grade is 100% on your final paper but they give you feedback throughout your writing. The group project was a ton of fun. Take Lohmann ANY chance you get!

This class was all over the place. I didn't understand how anything really applied to the course description. This is an easy class not doubt and Lohamnn is a very caring woman, however it is not intellectually challenging. I ended up getting a A and I still didn't learn anything.Don't bother with the require readings there is no point.

She gave the option of having a long paper, a short paper, power point, and experiment. If you do the long paper there is no need to go to class but everything really depends on the T.A. I found her to be nit picky at times and it was ridiculously hard to get into her office hours . This was a great indication that many where confused 90% of the time.
