Professor Lohmann is a very passionate professor who really cares about her subject material. She sometimes talks a little fast and goes on tangents, but she's able to relate everything back to what she's teaching. She's really knowledgeable about climate change and talking about shifting data trends.

She's also incredibly sweet and really into hearing from her students, so it's very easy to ask questions or discuss your opinions with her! The work is manageable, but you need to put effort into it. This is a professor who will help you if you ask, and wants you to succeed, so take advantage of it.

She is hands down one of the best professors I've taken at UCLA, highly recommend her as a professor.

This is the most pointless class I've taken at UCLA. She prints packets of unnecessary information and rambles about unrelated subjects. Basically, this class is all over the place and super disorganized with its reading materials, games, and lectures. Moreover, it bugs me how unnecessarily complicated her grading scale is and how detail-oriented and time-consuming the projects are. However, as a person she is approachable and a nice professor, but her class is not worth the effort.
