The fact that she drops one midterm is amazing. Take her if you can!

Final Grade: A
Honestly, her tests are the easiest. I walked out of the testing rooms and felt miserable every time (except for the final) but the curve takes care of everything. I got an A for the first midterm, an F for the second miterm, and an A for the final. She dropped the F and made my final 50% of my grade so I had to study really hard for the final.
Kucherenko is really cute, in my opinion. She IS a little hard to understand, but come on, there are so many professors that cannot speak english on this campus. lol. You'll get used to her accent in no time. Take her and go to every lecture!

I actually enjoyed math w/ Kucherenko even though her tests were ridiculously hard...The class curve is pretty generous; homework is an easy 20% of your grade and as long as you're one or 2 points above the average on the midterms then you're basically GUARANTEED a B. I remember our 2nd midterm was 70% for and A and 40% for a B. She's a VERY teacher. the trick is to NOT take the practice exams so seriously because although the real exams are based on the general format and material on the practice exams, students who memorize the practice exams tend to disregard what the questions are really asking sometimes. Good luck and TAKE KUCHERENKO. By the way, her accent is totally understandable. people who can't understand her are just too stubborn to even TRY. final grade: B-

This professor does not speak English. Take this class if you are able to translate awful pronunciations. Her tests are very hard. I don't mind hard test but when there is nowhere in the book or her lectures that has examples as hard as the ones she has on the test, there is no way you can be fully prepared. Avoid this teacher.

She is a very good teacher and goes over the material pretty well. She does a lot of examples in class. She is pretty friendly when it comes to asking her questions too. Her tests are HARD!!!!! They are not easy by any standard. There is always some kind of trick that she did not exactly teach you. Overall though a very good teacher and I would recommend her to anybody that is actually interested in learning.
