Quarter: Spring 2023

Professor Due is one of the best professors that I have taken so far at UCLA. I'm so glad that I've had a chance to get to know her this past quarter because she is so concerned with student learning and student success. She honestly wants everyone to get an A so she allows late work until the very last week without point deductions. I've learned a lot about Afrofuturism, especially in the context of short stories and films. I'll be actively looking out for more classes to take taught by Professor Due!

Ps: She is genuinely so sweet and really funny

I learned new things about Afrofuturism and I learned about culture. The professor is very passionate about the topic, and knowledgeable. We had great class discussions and the films and music were insightful.
