This class was the most shockingly interesting class I had ever taken in my life. I liked the topic so much I decided to add an Armenian studies minor to my major.
Interestingness aside, Professor Hovhannisyan is the most down to Earth, understanding, and caring professor you will ever have at UCLA. She makes every class different and engaging. We had in class debates, presentations as our midterm/final, and honestly the best time in class. If you're thinking about it, TAKE THIS CLASS!
Hello! This is honestly the best class I have ever taken. It brought back so many memories from Armenia and I loved feeling connected to my culture again. Ms. Hovhannisyan is the sweetest professor. She explains everything clearly, makes sure everyone understands the material, and is always supportive and patient. This isn’t a class where you can just sit back and chill, but if you do the homework, stay engaged, and participate in class, you will enjoy it so much. You actually learn, you feel welcomed and it becomes a really meaningful experience. I’m very grateful I took this class.
