Quarter: Fall 2024
Grade: A

Compared to 104A, this class was much more reasonable and the TAs and professors treat you with respect and as adults who have conducted labs before. The lectures weren’t super helpful but were a good refresher and condensed all of the 104A lectures to be less time consuming and detailed. I appreciated some deadlines being extended as well as we got to the later part of the quarter, as assignments for this class and others would stockpile. Being able to resubmit earlier reports for updated grades was also a nice part of this class. It did not take too much additional time and applying the feedback versus just reading it over helped in reports afterwards. The TAs were instrumental to success in this class as each experiment was heavy on theoretical concepts that were more difficult than what we have experienced before. They were also friendly and understanding of mistakes and did their best to help in any way possible. The lab groups worked well, and I found new friends in the major that I could work with and ask help for in my other chemical engineering classes.
