Tung really cares about helping his students. With the loss of math TA's this quarter, he took it upon himself to grade homework and provide feedback. He writes practice midterms and practice finals while also detailing the breakdown of each problem before the test so you know exactly what it will look like. He offers extra credit on homework and has 1 midterm which can be replaced by the final if needed. His lecture are clear and recorded by zoom in case you miss them, he also uploads his handwritten notes. Take this professor for this class!!!

Professor Nguyen is great: he's really clear in lectures, records his lectures, and posts really helpful notes which helps us complete homework and understand the concepts well. I really appreciated how he continued to grade homework this quarter even though the math department got rid of TAs for this course.
