Professor Agadjanian is very kind and wants you to do well. Prof is smart and means well, but he is not a very compelling lecturer. Class discussion is a big part of this class but he doesn't really do a lot to make the discussion lively. If you aren't already really interested in migration studies it will be hard to be engaged. If you have not taken any classes about migration before you might be a little lost, because it's not really an overview. Most of the work was read research papers about different areas of migration studies and synthesize what you read into a weekly reflection every week. Doing that then prepares you for the final project which is to write a literature review.

Heavy on reading because you have to write a reflection paper every week with all the course materials. However, the readings are very interesting. When we were in-person class discussions were really interesting. Professor Agadjanian was really helpful during office hours and has done a lot of cool work in global health. If you're interested in these topics you will learn a ton.
