His lectures are very boring. He just solves example problems and doesn't spend much time on concepts. The beginning of the class is basic physics but wake up when he starts doing like screws and stuff. I managed by reading the book for the exam. Its a pretty basic class. Just understand the fundamental concepts and thats F=ma is what the class is about.
I've read the reviews on here that say he is a good professor but honestly I didn't think his class was that great. The lectures were a constant battle for me trying to stay awake so if he's a good professor I'm really not looking forward to seeing what the bad ones are like.
The first midterm was not bad, second one was terrible, and final was horrible. I thought I'd failed the class after that but somehow ended up with a B+ so I guess he's a pretty generous grader.
I felt like he rushed through the material at the end of the class and tried to cram way too much in at once. I also remember that he tested us on stuff that we never had homework problems on which was frustrating.
I really didn't like how he would teach us a concept and then expect us to be able to absorb it immediately and be able to see all the different ways that concept could be applied to other things like biomechanics. Also, he really wants people to go to lecture so he often put stuff on the exams that he'd mentioned once in a lecture or some strange example he did in class and expect us to remember it. Even if you did go to lecture you might have been asleep or you might have accidentally skipped that example when studying so I didn't think that was very fair. If he wants people to come to lecture then maybe he should make them more interesting.
