Would definitely recommend taking! Professor Espino is passionate about the topic and knows quite a lot about it. The class focuses on a testimonio that you do with a care worker. It's an hour long interview that you then transcribe and summarize. You then later write an analysis paper of the testimonio using what you learned in the class. The final is four questions on the book that you read for class (an interesting, good read). Overall, an easy class and you'll learn a lot about how our society functions because of the care work done by undocumented women of color.
