Vlatka is clearly very passionate about the subject. She would often go on about a specific idea or event in a book and leave little time to discuss the rest of the book. That being said, the lecture wasn't that helpful to me; I learned most in my peer-learning group. The midterm and final aren't that difficult as long as you remember or know the main ideas and events in each book.
