I found this class challenging as it seemed most of it was very coding heavy which was not my strength. I felt as if the coding was not taught in a proper way to be giving such difficult labs. There was not much practice problems for exams so it was difficult to study for them. The midterm was graded harshly which made me get a B and the final was really difficult and not what I expected compared to the practice problems given. Overall, unless you are really interested in the content, I would not really recommend this class as I found it to be a way more difficult version of LS30A and LS30B content. I think the lack of practice is what contributed to my thoughts about this.

Amazing professor. I found the class a bit difficult but he tried his best to help me in office hours. Some of the weekly labs were pretty difficult and sometimes they were easy, I scored mostly 90s on the labs but messed up on one scoring in the 70s, otherwise I got a mid B on the midterm, high B on the project and a low A on the final and got a B+ in the class, so the class definitely isn’t curved at all and you want to get 90s on almost everything to get an A. If you’re ok at math and are interested in this kind of stuff then I would recommend this class.

Babiec is an amazing professor who truly wants his students to learn and become expects in the subject. He makes sure that he explains everything to the fullest extent. No other professor is as accessible and helpful as he is. While the class is a little hard, he does try his best to make it as graspable as possible.
