I love one of his sweaters.
It's like:

And its flamingo!
After all, he's a good professor.
He talks about equations and E's and i's. Big fan of math.
The illustration is rather clear. However, if you're like, "Nah, I'm a physicist. I don't care how it's inducted." Then you're DEAD HARD! But, if you're like, "Nah, I'm a physicist. I don't care about computations and figures." Then you become him!
He talks about applications of physics, and literally enlightens you about plasma, physics, science, and philosophy. It is also a good time to fool yourself that you've understood everything in his notes. Good time… Good time…
What is GPA? Is it edible?
Still, a good professor. I enjoyed his lectures very much.
I took 1B and 1C with Gekelman and got B's in both. He is a very nice guy and I feel that he genuinely wants his students to succeed. He uses a lot of demos in his lecture, which help make them slightly more interesting. However, overall his lectures are ineffective and consist of error riddled derivations. Sometimes they left me more confused than I started.
His tests are hard and based more on the ungraded challenge problems that he assigns than the Mastering Physics work we did for a grade. The class generally has a low average, but he grades on a pretty reasonable curve.
I would not recommend taking his class if you have another option, but if you must, study hard and do ridiculous amounts of practice problems before each test and it is possible to survive.
worst professor i have ever had!!!!
dont take him except u think u r smart enough。。。
his lectures are funny, but he doesnt know how to teach, his lecture notes are absolutely different from the book, and more complex,
overall: horrible!!!
he set the averge as c+ or b-, so this professor sucks!!!!
