this review is for ugarte-fernandez not arnold, but will be updated when shes available on the website. profe ugarte is SO sweet and nice, and she honestly is a very hands-on person when it comes to teaching english. shes very available and cares SO MUCH about how she is running the class. that is to say, it was a very stressful class and at times was very overwhelming. not to say i wouldn't take it again, but i would reconsider it. there are random notebook checks, and you take quizzes very very frequently on the readings, so you cannot procrastinate on the readings (quizzes are often everyday). final is optional but the exams are a lot of thinking. there is a lot of work and it can get very overwhelming. DO NOT take if you are looking for an easy/nice ge.
